Makes selling a breeze! But...
Update: The latest version is broken. It won't delete unsold items. Several other things don't work right. Had to reduce rating till it gets fixed.
Slow loads or not at all on some pages.
Not sure if it's an eBay app thing or iOS 8.3 thing. I also recently updated my iOS.
Not a killer, but why have a delete X and not actually delete the item? Get real. Shouldn't have to go to PC to delete a stuff.
Now, the previous rating:
I've been impressed with eBays iPad/iPhone apps from the beginning. While I see why there are bad reviews, I think they are too extreme.
As a seller, the Home page is a little bit over the top with its buyer-oriented catalog feel. Other than that, a lot of work has gone into making the app easier to use. Navigating is much easier than ever for me, and I'm very happy with the improvements. There is always a learning curve with changes, but after using the app awhile I now find it easier than before. I like that the selection bar on the left gives direct links to the 3 main functions. Moving from one section to another is quick.
This app makes it easy to manage my eBay sales. Listing is fast and easy with lots of help filling in the details, pricing, shipping, etc. The eBay app fits my needs of selling online!
Does what it's supposed to do
but I go in to the full site to list and then use this to check or realist. Like other mobile applications you have limited options without going to the full site. Thus, for doing what it's supposed to do, I gave it a 5.
It's is easier and faster to use to bid or keep track of stuff and depending on what you set your notifications for it keeps u updated when an auction is about ready to end or if you've been outbid, etc. and is one of the few mobile apps that remain on my iPad after using. I normally like the full/classic pages with any Internet sites, even on my iPhone so I see and get all my options that are not normally given with any of the mobile apps. This is just an extra tool I use to surf or update.
Bring back Saved Searches to home page!!!
I used to open the App and see my saved searches (favorite searches) right there, along with watched, buying and selling right up top... Now I see a bunch of eBay advertising of stuff I don't care about... And getting to the saved searches is more taps and once there, the interface is just awful... I'll be using eBay less now I'm afraid... It's not even an option from the settings... I don't want to browse categories... Who does that???? I want the stuff I care about front and center.. I want to see new search results for a
Saved searches when I open the app, not after I click the search window, minimize the keyboard pop up, then click saved searches... Now I have to keep taping search field, then minimize keyboard EVERY time I want to go to a different saved search result! First-world problems indeed, but I used to be able to do this before the latest update which hosed it all up...
