If you were to look up the definition of garbage you would see an asterisk mark and beneath would be a reference to the eBay app. This is the worst update ever. The last one allowed for easy navigation and saved your searches. Each time you tap on an item it opens it up and you cannot scroll through and view any other items. You have to go back and then select another item. You used to be able to select an item and still scroll through along the side. The old app would save your search preferences each time you searched for a new item (for example sold items and highest price) now each time you search you have to select the preferences each time. Make sure you do you in the correct order or you'll only have one preference and won't save if you have multiple conditions. The selling part of the app is still the same worthless features. No improvements have been made since the launch of the app. You still cannot print labels, doesn't notify you of which items need to be shipped. Also when trying to move pictures around for the listings you cannot select any of the photos in the bottom row (pictures 9-12). Evidently someone didn't test this. Really sad when the Craigslist app works better than a eBay's. Overall avoid the update. I'll go back to using my PC instead of using this app.

Yuk .. IOS 6 app better and faster

Update, still feel the ios6 eBay app had better features, faster, easier on eyes, many good features no longer exist. Also no longer sell on eBay as fees too high especially items under 500 dollars. Like many things internet related, get worse instead of better. Becoming a Luddite as the apps and services get worse all the time and fees get higher. I think more people feel the same. EBay tries to justify their actions but the attempt wins over nobody.

Recently upgraded iPad from IOS 6 and that app so much better. Takes 2 or 3 strokes to do what used to take 1. There is little customization and what there is went from easy to understand to difficult to understand. Now I have to figure out how to do what was once simple. Most enjoyed features gone. I hope I can find a way to improve or will use iPhone which is back so and better. What is with the privacy and add opt out, so cheesy. It is like this is a app ready for 1st level testing not for usage by public. There are some nice things here once you figure them out but still a challenge, very hard to tell if watch item already watched eye strain on ios8 can only view eBay for 1 /10 the time I used to
BRING back BLACK background, ios 8 is horrible on the eyes.

Agreeing wholeheartedly with pretty much atrocious reviews of the pre-Christmas update, and as a loyal buyer AND power/top rated seller, if it was possible to rate this app a -5 I would. I am disgusted with eBay's treatment of removing vital components needed for selling their products while using this app as a tool. I don't care to elaborate on most issues...please read the other reviews. But I will say that since the update, every item I've attempted to list using the app itself just sits in my store gathering dust...until I figured it out and spent hours re-formatting listings on my desktop. Which then sell like wildfire. And eBay, in case you haven't noticed, many, many Buyers choose to peruse possible purchases before bedtime. Why in God's name will you not bring back a night-viewing version? Maybe take some of the budget to hire out-of-the country "team members" who don't seemed to be briefed on the simplest aspects of how to list an item correctly with ultimate promises to "pass the information on to a supervisor" (either "supervisors" are a euphemism for a clogged employee suggestion box which sits in a basement somewhere collecting dust or a blatant brush off--as I have NEVER received a promised response from said "supervisor") or hire a couple of IT experts who can spend a few days fixing unacceptable glitches. Problem solved!
