Terrible Mess! DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!!!!!!!!
I am very very very sorry that I uploaded or updated this app on my iPad. I had nothing but problems since doing so. I don't deny that there are some improvements that are really fantastic, but by far, these are overshadowed by the "bugs" and difficulties in using this app and by its many, many failures. The first and most obvious is the "Unsold" section – for some reason it is impossible to delete anything even when you do deleted it reappears. Thus, I have relisted, double listed and deleted items that should not have been deleted many times over. When you were listing over 150 items this becomes a huge problem. Another issue I've had is I am unable to set my homepage. Though there is a menu that allows you to set your homepage, when you set it ... Nothing happens! Forget calling and complaining or even explaining the situation I have spoken to five different people and absolutely none of them have been helpful. They all claim they will report this issue and yet it is never mentioned on the eBay website or the announcements page. If you're using the old app stick with it
Needs fixes but better than the previous version
The app has gotten better but still has bugs. I try to watch an item and it tells me it's watched until I got back later and the item isn't in my watch list. At least before it would tell you if you couldn't watch an item due to too many things on your watch list. I don't even think that's the problem. I never write reviews but felt the need because I use Ebay a lot and am disappointed. I also was mislead while bidding. When I was watching watching an item I was bidding on which only had a few minutes left, it told me I had been outbid, only I was the lone bidder! So I placed a higher bid twice only to outbid myself and spend more money :( very frustrating. I also wish that eBay would allow you to access your other watch lists on the app and one more thing...as a buyer and seller I wish that you could access more of the seller info available on the website. I wish there was a bette update.
Almost as good as standard web access...
Ipad app is better than the iphone app. There are a few key features missing from the ipad version that you can access on ebay offical site with a pc. They are as follows, the ability to add notes to items you have purchased...the ability to see the date estimated by ebay, for delivery, before purchase was made, it disappears after you buy an item. On pc you can always see ebays estimate, and the tracking to compair... There is no visible button that quickly connects you to ebay dispute service if you have not received your item past the date it was to arrive. Its easier to log in on a pc to access the resolution center. The app works ok, a lot better than it was a year ago on the ipad. Over all, ebay on any platform could use a better search system to be more accurate when searching for lowest price w s and h
