EBSCOhost databases and discovery technologies are the most-used, premium online information resources for tens of thousands of institutions worldwide. This free app ensures that iPhone and iPod Touch users get the most from searching premium EBSCOhost database content, provided courtesy of your library.

The convenience and rich functionality of the app enables users to:
•Choose which databases to search
•Limit results to full text or peer reviewed
•Sort by relevance or date
•Retrieve full text results in HTML and/or PDF formats
•Save results for offline access at a later date
•Email results to self or others
•Automatically save 25 most recent searches

To use the EBSCOhost app, access EBSCOhost as you typically would via your library website or corporate intranet. Click the link at the bottom of any EBSCOhost page to email yourself the key to the app.

Need an iPad version

I can't save a PDF into another program on the iPad because the screen popups go off the edge of the screen. The whole thing looks horrific on an iPad in general. There are also not many substantial searching options.

For the amount of money we pay for tuition and in turn that goes to Ebsco publishing through library budgets, there should have been more development for this app a long, long time ago.

We are gouged as students for tuition and then not given appropriate updates for a world class database system? This is why we need a better publishing and distribution system for the academic world.

D- Incomplete

I have two complaints about this app:

(1) Lack of an iPad version. Using the iPhone app on a tablet doesn't take advantage of the larger screen.

(2) Lack of support for 3rd party keyboards. I routinely use the Swype keyboard, and it does not work in the app. I am forced to use the (inferior) default Apple keyboard.

Dudes u can do better

Please just be more like google, or just stop trying
