Eclipses tells you if and when you can see the next eclipse from where you are.

It can show you previous or future eclipses (both lunar and solar), and you can also change the viewing location. By using the location supplied by your phone, together with a condensed database of eclipse parameters, you’re able to compute the viewing information directly on your phone.

Unique features:
• Automatically estimates elevation and local time, including daylight savings time. (Local date is often different from the "official" date.)
• Search for any place name, down to the street address (requires internet access)

What's New

Version 3.3.1

Fixed a problem where maps occasionally showed incorrect overlays.

A very good compendium of eclipses

This app, once you learn your way around it, shows all the info you need for observing any eclipse, solar or lunar. I run it fine on an iPhone 6. It has every eclipse calculated out to the year 2100, when, by the way, there will be another total eclipse in Oregon!
It is educational and useful and I highly recommend it.

Lots of information, but not user friendly

The app has not been updated to fit iPhone 6. While it seems to have lots of Information, trying to navigate to information such as best location to watch and time seems to be an unattainable task.

Extremely handy for the upcoming eclipse...

I have downloaded your nice APP. If I take out the limb profile and refraction corrections from Eclipse Orchestrator, both programs agree with each other and with Eclipse Chasers. Of course , yours is the most convenient to use on an IPHONE, although I will be also be using Eclipse Orchestrator to run my camera.

Your graphics are very nice. I would suggest that maybe you do a short tutorial on the Internet on the CIRCA operation. I got it to work, but it took quite a while to figure it out (for example, how to set up a special lat/lon location as a saved location). Also, possibly due to my error but maybe not, I had to input the lat/lon about six times to finally get it to work.

It is quite a nice piece of programming and I compliment and thank you. It will really be nice in China to click on the lat lon, and then get a GPS updated location and precise times. . I have the 3Gs Iphone.
