Overall great game
Overall, the game is great, it has good graphics (on iPhone 5c) easy to use controls, different weapons, different characters, and cutscenes. But you really appreciate the game more after you see the movie, because the movie is great. The game has different scenarios that you can die in, like in the movie, and as you learn them you can progress farther through the level. The enemies are cool looking, unpredictable, and scary. The creators did a great job recreating the exoskeletons, the mimics (the aliens), and the two main characters, tom cruise and Emily blunt. Yes, it would be nice if there were more levels, but I don't mind because each time you play through, you unlock more stuff, like a sniper rifle or middle launcher, you start out with a machine gun and grenade launcher. My only problem with this game is, how do you unlock Rita? I would happily share this game, but I don't have a Facebook account. So please make another way to unlock her! I would definitely pay a few dollars for this game if it had another level or two. For anyone reading this review, get this game because it's fun. Support it so the creators can make it better. And if the creators are reading this, please update, and good job!
Good game.. But needs more
But really needs more. More weapons, different suits, differernt parts of the battle field (different maps) heat you could show a flashback of verdun when your Rita, basically showing Rita's story. Also it show have there adventure to go find the omega. The movie was great, so they should show them in the car scene, the general scene, and the helicopter scene, at the farmhouse. But overall it's a ok game that's just missing some stuff..but just show more part of the movie and make it into the game. And show more stuff that I said up towards the top..👆👆👆
Honetly, what you could do is make a video game out of it like a story mode, and you choose what path private CAGE goes. For like PS3,ps4. I would buy it....
A good movie tie-in
I've figured out how to allow Facebook sharing in order to unlock Rita. First, go into iOS settings and delete your Facebook info from your device. Second, open the game and share the screenshot (it'll have you log in via a webpage). After Rita is unlocked, you can re-sign into Facebook on your device and everything will work (mostly) perfectly. Occasionally, you'll still get a Facebook related crash here or there, but that's life.
One of the best movie tie-in games I've ever played. It does have room for improvement, but for what it is meant to be, it's worth the price of admission (which is nothing). Better if you've seen the movie first.
I, like everyone else, have the Facebook sharing issue that allows you to unlock Rita. At this point, it would be nice of the devs to just unlock her in an update: the movie's been out long enough that Facebook shares are unlikely to generate much more of an audience.
Also, a reload button would be nice. Not necessary, but nice all the same.
