What's New in Version 2.8.1
- The video player enters full screen mode as soon as device is rotated to landscape. Swipe on full screen videos to move to the next unit.
- For videos with transcripts, transcripts are available on portrait view only. Transcripts are searchable and synchronized with the video playhead.
- All courses that you are enrolled in on edx.org are now visible on the mobile app.
- Versions earlier than 2.5 are deprecated. To access courses, make sure you upgrade to the latest version.
- Accessibility improvements.

Awesome program; app itself freezes
The app is super intuitive and helpful, the lectures go really well with the app to support learning. I love downloading lectures in advance and listening to them on the trains
the app itself freezes sometimes, but it's worth dealing with the annoyance to access the quality material
Clean interface, easy to use
I love that I can complete my courses-videos included without having to sit in front of my laptop. When I have a free moment, I pull up the app and can continue my course right where I left off.
Terrible.
edX is a valuable site, and I have found courses I haven't found on Coursera or Udacity. But this mobile app barely functions at all. Course pages take forever to load. Captions under videos disappear when you go backwards towards a video page. And there isn't a iPad app. Coursera's app has been miles ahead of this app for years. You're better off actually going to the edX page instead of using this app.
