Eidetic - Learn & remember anything
By Steven Waterfall
Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
Eidetic uses a technique called spaced repetition to help you memorise anything from important phone numbers to interesting words or facts.
It works differently from typical brain training apps by using items that have meaning and context.
Perfect for students looking to remember those key facts or anyone who wants to remember friends phone numbers, new bank details or just cool words, quotes or facts you come across!
Eidetic uses notifications to remind you when it's time to test yourself. By spacing the tests out over time it helps you to retain the information in long-term memory, this is known as the 'spacing effect'.
Built in flashcard types make it easy to add items:
• Phone Number
Simple intensity levels allow you to select the length of the testing period. For those who need to remember the information quickly you can cram it into one day or if you want to learn it more naturally you can space it over 2 weeks or a month!
• Cram - 1 Day
• Normal - 2 Weeks
• Casual - 1 Month

Great app, leaves a little to be desired
It's a wonder no one's come up with this idea already. It's clearly a staple to education (or even leisure) to memorize certain things.
I intend to use this to recall poetry and passages for debate team later on, as well as a few French passages for a foreign language competition. This app should be very helpful in both!
However, nothing in this app allows for memorization of foreign words and their translations, so I'm pretty disappointed. (Hence the loss of 1 star.)
Great, but needs some small tweaks
The app is very effective. My suggested tweaks would be (1) a way to organize or search archived facts; (2) a way to define "sets," when there is more than one answer and the ordering does not matter; and (3) a way to see what I entered when I get something wrong. (For long answers, I'm often pretty sure I typed the right thing but may have had a small typo.)
Helps you remember anything
Then you guys should use your own app to learn how to memorize, "memorise" as you guys put it. Don't mean to be mean but come on, seriously. Look at what your advertising? And you can't even spell the word that you claim your app can help you do? Only reason I downloaded program. So you can fix that in your description.
