Slick Cost vs Revenue Calculator
Saw Eles aka Elevator Estimator on Product Hunt and thought I'd check it out.
Basic napkin cost estimator that shows you where your profit line is. Displays the text and calculations in a nice format.
The clean layout and SHARE button for sending out a quick napkin estimate is great.
Knocked one star for the app losing my data after doing a share (went back to app and it had me start all over - wasn't logged in) UGH!
As for feature improvements...
- The logo is retro Apple colors, Greed 80's $ sign. Love it but you might add Red & Black to symbolize profit/loss.
- Need a ⓘ symbol at FIXED and VARIABLE to explain.
- Since you are an ELEVATOR app you should allow number input with elevator style buttons (lose the 99¢) and let folks slide their thumb up and down on a number to change it higher/lower without retyping. You can even do an elevator floor ding after letting go on a thumb slide.
- Look at SOULVER app on how to add a text calculator function inside the app.
- Needs a fancy graph view that lets you see more than the break even point. I'd love to do on the fly profit projections.
- Change app ELES name as shown when installed as an app. I know it means ELevator EStimator, but in 3 months I won't remember and ELES won't help. Go with something like Estimator, EEcalc that hints that this app isn't a game.
Quick and easy to calculate!
Wow I love this so far! I hope in the future there's a little more options such as adding in Minimum Order Quantity and it's cost to be even more versatile.
