It was my great good fortune to click on this app and install it. It is truth and beauty in the same moment. I entered a pin for a hotel in Taormina in Sicily (the Villa Fiorita) at 39 Pirandello. It came up on the satellite view, and there was the Teatro Greco, the Greek Theater from 300 B.,C,, just on the other side of the hill, where it belonged. Memories instantly flooded back to me, and I smiled at what has become possible with an iPad and a great artist who knows how to see what you want to see and find a way to put it in front of your eyes from thousands of miles away. I thank you for a great memory of the most beautiful spot on earth. Don't take my word for it; Goethe said it long before I did. I could only wish he had seen an iPad from a few hundred miles away with the Teatro Greco, as I have now seen it. What a joy. Bravo! Bravo!

Fun program - needs some details

This is a fun program that with a few added details could really be a high quality app. The most needed addition from my perspective are more data labels along the y-axis on the charts. There could also be about twice as many grid lines. It's hard to try and figure out for example the maximum height along a path with the way the axis is labeled. Reporting the minimum and maximum values would be a cool feature. If this could be plotted also on the actual line that would be very nice. One other addition could be the ability to do a more than 2-point path to account for turns, etc. on a walk or run.

Great but not perfect

This is a fabulous app for finding out road grades and distances on a map. With a few minor updates I would give it five stars: (1) the settings are hard to find (you have to click the "export" button, which is non-intuitive) and (2) the tick marks on the graphs aren't at good break points (it's nice to know that the terrain has gone up by 33 feet over a run of 632 feet, but knowing it went up 30 feet over 600 would be better). I look forward to future updates, but even as it is it's a great and very useful app.
