Essential for any exerciser
The interface has improved a lot and i love the balance gauge. It tells me what kind of exercise to do that day. The breathing guide is excellent.
I have been doing the morning readiness everyday I exercise and hrv has been going up. One morning there was a sudden drop. I thought it was a mistake, but then I remembered the root canal I had the previous day. Even though the pain was gone, the body was probably still recovering. The body balance is accurately reflected by eliteHRV.
Seems to work
I've been using it for almost 3 weeks...doing morning readiness and occasional spot checks. I have tested in the yellow and red a handful of times and I did recovery workouts-mobility-meditation and have bounced back the next day. I'd usually workout on some of these days and just put myself in a downward spiral the following few days. So far so good...seems accurate based on how I'm feeling and I feel I've had a few solid weeks of training.
Good HRV app
Tells me if my immune system is fighting something before I have any symptoms which is quite useful for recovery. Helps me see how well I am aging compared to others. Helps me optimize my breathing for meditation- but this is where I subtract one star, I wish there were more options for breathing (like any time interval for in, hold at top, out, hold at bottom), currently it is limited and I prefer to breathe slower than its slowest setting.
