Using the Embr Wave iOS app, you can receive the latest updates to your product's cooling and warming features for even more thermal relief. You can also view your usage data that can help you understand your own temperature comfort patterns.
Note: To use the app, you'll need an Embr Wave wristband.
Last week, we released Mobile Control, a brand-new feature that lets you ramp up to your desired temperature directly from your phone.
- This update lets you use the app even when there is no internet connection.
- We also made some usability improvements and fixed some bugs.

Peer inside your Wave
Love the idea of controlling my Wave with an app. I especially enjoy seeing the little warmth progress bar, because before that I had always been confused why "Wave had to rest for a little while."
It'd be great if that bar could then show the progress cooling towards another session. A similar "battery" bar would also be nice. And it'd be lovely if we could quickly turn the app's temperature dial, or even better, just tap at -6º for an instant setting. And it’d be nice if the app worked in airplane mode, since I often want to use my Wave in airplanes, cruise ships, and on international travel. Looking forward to this software making my hardware better and better!
I just paired and synced my Embr wave and it doesn’t work at all. It shows that I have used 40 minutes of cooling and 75 minutes of warming today when I just put it on. And I did not use after midnight last night either.
Also... the settings page is all greyed out. It has my name and birth year but I can’t access anything. Can’t edit, can’t see firmware version or update, etc.
I tried unpairing, repairing and resyncing to no avail. Needs a lot of work I’m guessing. But I have been enjoying the gadget itself.
