Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
This application acts as a speed dialer. It is setup with an easily recognizable icon so that a younger person / or possibly incapacitated person could easily call an emergency contact number with the press of a button.
Perfect for households without a traditional land based telephone line and young children. In case of emergency a younger person could easily call for help by pressing the red phone button - parents can preset which number is auto-dialed.
As the father of 3 young daughters I felt this application is useful since explaining how to dial 911 to a 3 year on the iPhone can be a little tricky.
This is very useful. My only criticism is that just opening the app calls the emergency number. It wold be nice if there was a button within the app. But thank you!
Thank YOU SO MUCH!!!!
Thank you. I needed this app so badly. I have two kids ages 5 and 7. I've had my iPhone for 3 years and my home phone system is actually set up for a business, so it's very complicated. You have to push a one button out of 12 to get a line-out. And if that wasn't hard enough, we live in Fairfax and you have to enter the 1 plus the area code, then the number just to call a neighbor. We do have 911, but like you said so eloquently, trying to explain to a young child, all the various steps to do before you even get to the dialing part, And heaven forbid you have the passcode/phone lock set, talking bug trouble. Thank you! This was really needed. And to make it free, after all the work you put in, I will pass it on. Thanks!
