Great game, ruined by crashes

The game is great. Nearly a masterpiece. Unfortuantely, the recent update crashes CONSTANTLY! Seriously, it is so bad now that, when I play it is no longer a question of "if" the game will crash, but "when" the game will crash.

I don't blame Feral really, because none of this was an issue until Apple did the 64-bit upgrade. Please tell me that you are releasing some update to fix these crashes. Also, can be get some word on if there are giong to be an update on some of the earlier games, like my beloved "Rome" series? I paid my money for the games, so please help me get my games back.

Also, Apple... c'mon man.

Greatest Strategy Game Ever... but

To begin with, the purpose of the game is incredible. Governing a sovereign nation through the in and outs of the all-encompassing political sphere.

The ability to strategize in trade, diplomacy, endless military tactics (sea and land), and internal social development is unmatched by any game.
The gameplay is nuanced yet immersive and intuitively appropriate. The design of battle scenarios very rich in depthness.

Amazing game, the depthness and historical and strategic logic makes one feel like they are playing a Sovereign Simulatior similar to the classic Flight Simulator computer game.

There is only one issue, and that is of a bug in Road to Independence that has been commented on before by other users...I appreaciate your attention to the matter. It goes as follows:

At the conclusion of conquering the last necessary territory in Road to Independence, a nice little video (greath depth, again) of the concluding arch. You then receive a message congratulating the accomplishement. Not a couple of seconds later, without clicking on the Check confirming the receipt of message, the screen shifts back to the game's home screen.

Honestly, greatest game I have ever played. I am a huge fan of the Total War series gameplay, but the contexts of the time period in this one is unmatch.

Just please fix the bug--it would make this game Perfect.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for your purchase of Empire Total War.

After the completion of this Episode you will see a short movie about the formation of the United States. This indicates the end of the Road to Independence campaign; returning to the Main Menu is the expected behaviour. You can now choose to start a campaign game as the United States by reentering the Road to Independence campaign and choosing United States from the right side of the screen.

We hope this helps. Please let us know if you require any further assistance via support@feralinteractive.com

My Favorite Total War

I have re-downloaded and played through this game at least three times. Compared to other sword and shield Total War games, where you smash your lines together and are only trying to flank your enemies. With Empire, you cn still win the battle without superior numbers.
This is by far my favorite Total War due to the angle that you have to really rely on good tactics. Especially with the Warpath Campaign, playing as Native Americans it provides an experience the other gunpowder age Total War games can offer either such as Napoleon.
This is the only Total War that I have gotten Mods to work on a Mac computer.
