Definitely worth a try
I've been using Mint on and off for several years. It was a great relationship at first, mostly because I could get all my account balances in one place. But over time so many little things have gotten on my nerves (accounts not connecting, too many ads, the auto categorization which just doesn't make sense...).
Anyway, I've been so ready to try something new. With Empower, so far so good. It's definitely a lot easier to use, quicker to set up. I like the more modern design and less clutter. The categories make more sense to me, and I find the reports easier to access and digest. I find myself not referencing my Mint account anymore, even though I have so many years of history in there.
I wish I had just started with something like Empower in the first place!
MUST. HAVE.
Like pretty much everybody else who reviewed this app, I also downloaded this to replace Mint and the seemingly endless other wannabe personal finance management apps that exist today. I sincerely mean it when I say nothing compares to this app. It's slightly confusing at first to understand the layout of key features (please improve!) but everything is there and simple to use once you can find them. Thank you for the great app and please keep the regular updates coming! Mint has some practical recent updates that I'd love to see you all implement as well.
Weekly limit?
Love it so far. Ok not ready to leave Mint but I hope Empower will get even better in the future so I can totally switch. Can you add a setting to set a weekly spending limit instead of monthly one?
EDIT: had a technical issue with one account and received prompt response and a solutions from the developer. Very happy with their support and customer service
