New User Interface Design
Useless! Don't bother!
Emtek's hardware is marginal at best, but their app is garbage, completely useless - I know as I installed a lot of their hardware in my new home, and 4 of these Liscios. I bought the Liscio model as I thought it would be very convenient, and I liked the style - very discreet buttons. but it's been nothing but frustration since installation. Codes don't work, Bluetooth connectivity never works, and trying to get tech support is a complete waste of energy as they couldn't care less. When I explained my situation to them, they just said "uh, sorry, I don't know, but thanks for your call".I even bought a couple of new Liscio locks hoping they might work better - nope! I will switch to another brand as soon as I find something of identical size as we routed out 5" thick man gates to fit these - like an idiot. Don;t waste a dime of your money, and look elsewhere.
Emtek, you seriously need to get it together!!
Could do so much more
You guys are missing the HUGE opportunity to drive demand for your locks by having a powerful app.
As someone suggested you need to add a log file to see what code was used and time/day of use.
The other feature would be to set repeating codes that only work at certain times and says like say every Tuesday from 5pm to 6pm. Also allow to the set temporary codes that last say 8 hours then automatically expire. This would be great for house sitters or repair people etc.
You could also sell an upgraded lock that supports wifi so the app could control the lock from anywhere.
