While traveling Saturday a stone hit the windshield resulting in a chip in the glass. As a passenger in my vehicle I used the Encompass mobile app to report the claim within minutes of the incident. Navigation through the app was simple and the call was placed right from the app. My call was answered promptly, the claims rep was courteous. The appointment was set up for Monday morning to have the vehicle repaired at my home.
Proof of insurance????
I would have thought that one of the main features of this app would be to include policy documents. The absence of that feature is a huge disappointment.
