The End of the World is a side-scrolling exploration game for the broken hearted. Set in Newcastle, England, you play a lonely man in a world that ended when he lost his love. By living day by day and in the past you unravel the circumstances that led to the end of the world, and maybe a way to move on. Essentially this is a break up game.
Completion time: 15-20 mins.

Amazing. Though Needs Things.
Ok now I bought this game about when it came out. I was just amazed completely. I had never seen such a game like this and need to play more like this. Though there are a fee things I would like to say it needs some changes. First, now I know smoking is for Aesthetic purposes(as far as I know). So when I take it out and smoke. I did start to notice he only took one puff from the cigarette. Which I know is for aesthetics, but it would be better to choose when to throw it or wait for it to burn out. Next, it would be to always have the clock always at the top right or bottom middle of screen(my preferences). It would be nice to see everything before you know, the world ended. Again it’s for my aesthetic purposes and probably others. I would love to see the rest of the world and people walking before time. Lastly, it would ne convenient to walk before time when you hold the clock down. I know it’s not a super thing, but I would like to see walk everything in the place while walking.
That was all for this app from what I’ve seen so far and it is amazing. Love the game and keep up the great work. Dev(s).
I can’t express how good this game was. The only thing I wished that came out of it, was more playing time! It was amazing and I didn’t want it to be the end!. The story is beautiful, but sad, but eye opening... I like how I decided to play it over multiple times so I could get a better understanding of it... Even though the “true” ending was sad, it was shown beautifully. I played it two- three times and got both endings.... It was amazing. Words cannot express enough of how much I loved this game.... If you are on the fence of buying this, I would say it is completely worth it. Honestly, I think it is worth more.... I CANT WAIT TO PLAY ANOTHER GAME THIS PERSON MAKES IF HE MAKES ANYMORE!!!!
Morose, angsty art major app
If you play this in a smoky bar where most of the people are wearing berets and drinking martinis or some edgy, no-name drink the “mixologist” designed, you’ll probably enjoy it. Ten minutes of wake up, get dressed, have coffee, sit in a chair, pick up a book (I think?), and walk left or right. In the end, we die. And then thank Brittany, the love of the developer’s life.
I’m fairly certain an art major made this in conjunction with a developer. I had another soundtrack playing while I played this and it made it ten times better.
I sat in my chair deciding whether it was worth it to go to the Apple website to request a refund. In the end, whoever developed this needs my $0.99 more than I do.
Apple, please don’t recommend this type of “game” any more unless it’s the free App of the Day.
1/10 wouldn’t buy again. If you like angsty-teen suicide love stories that take ten minutes to complete, then this is your game. If you don’t, absolutely take a pass on this one and get Pac Man or Granny or some other game.
