*From the team at ORIGINATOR - the creators of the beloved Endless Alphabet and Sesame Street's Monster at the End of This Book and Another Monster.... Originator is a team of passionate artists and engineers dedicated to the best education+entertainment apps for kids.*

As a follow-up to Endless Alphabet, set the stage for early reading success with Endless Reader! This app introduces "sight words", the most commonly used words in school, library, and children's books. Kids need to recognize these words by sight in order to achieve reading fluency. Recognizing sight words is advantageous for beginning readers because many of these words have unusual spelling, cannot be sounded out using phonics knowledge, and often cannot be represented using pictures.

Kids will have a blast learning sight words and their context and usage with the adorable Endless monsters. Each word features an interactive word puzzle with letters that come alive, and then a sentence puzzle with words that become what they describe. See the word "dog" as a barking dog, and the word "up" reach for the sky!

** NOTE: You must be online and have sufficient disk space while running the app to get all words in the app. **

- 6 words free to try with additional word packs available for purchase. Even more Reader Packs will be available for purchase in the future.
- Delightful animations reinforce sight recognition of words in a fun and interactive way.
- Word puzzles reinforce spelling using lower-case letters and the sentence puzzles teach definition and usage (in addition to sight recognition).
- Endless Reader was designed with your children in mind. There are no high scores, failures, limits or stress. Your children can interact with the app at their own pace.

Customer Reviews

My long review is with Endless Reader, but I highly recommend all 3 apps in this line. If you only buy 3, these are them (start with Alphabet). A lot of educators pick these apart as being incorrect but having helped my mother Write courses on how kids truly learn to read, and being the child and grandchild of early childhood educators and reading experts ... Kids will do very well with this in all it's imperfections. It's like real life where pronunciations and whatnot are varied and letters have different appearances. If your kids have a balanced life this is an ideal item for the iPad. I love how it highlights the same handful of common sight words so kids start to recognize them, and it has wonderful unusual vocabulary too. My now 4 year old loves these apps and I'm sure it's art of why he's surprising everyone with his literacy skills.

I'm amazed. I downloaded this for my sister a couple months ago when she was about a couple months from turning two. She's two and a half now, and her vocabulary is so expansive. It makes teaching toddlers easier. If she acts up in the restaurant or other public place, we let her play. I'm not keen on young children gluing their eyes to a screen, but there is true educational value in this app, which surprises me. Much more educational than any nickelodeon games in my opinion, and twice as entertaining. I very much recommend this. Very, very, VERY much. I also very much suggest buying some more reader packs. It was well worth the spend and cheaper than workbooks and other word learning books. Looking forward to more apps from this company/brand.

Incredibly Creative App

Engrossing for our 21 month old for the past few months, she’s definitely learning her letters and it seems like some words. She enjoys this app and we feel like her use of the iPad with this is overall positive compared to a lot of junk out there. The content is very high quality, and the app is very well executed. As an app developer I understand what it takes to make an app like this and can forgive them if its sometimes a bit slow on our iPad 2. The value received for the word packs is tremendous.
