Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
Named a “best invention” in 2009 by TIME magazine.
**This app is designed to work with the EnergyHub hardware system. In order to control appliances in your home via iPhone and to start saving energy, you’ll need to have the system in your home and connected to the Internet. If you don’t yet have the EnergyHub system at home, sign up for our newsletter at www.energyhub.com to learn when it’s available.**
If you already have the EnergyHub system at home; congrats! By downloading and installing this app, you’ll be able to connect to the Dashboard to control mode settings and turn individual appliances on and off.
Easily switch between “Home,” “Away,” and “Goodnight” modes to quickly take control of the energy use in your home. Forget to change the mode on the Dashboard on your way out the door in the morning? Now you can take care of it all right from the app as you head to work or otherwise are away from home.
You’re also able to turn individual appliances on and off. This allows you to get ultimate control over connected appliances in your home.
Quick feature overview:
- Switch between “Home,” “Away,” “Goodnight” modes
- Turn individual appliances on and off
- Security protection with optional passcode lock
The EnergyHub system was designed with the simple premise that saving energy should be easy. It’s good for the environment and good for your wallet. We’re working with utilities to help bring EnergyHub to homes across the U.S. and Canada. That way people just like you will be able to better understand and take control of how they’re using energy in their homes.
Again, this is a reminder that you **must have** the EnergyHub system in order for this app to work.

What's New in Version 1.0.1
Minor bug and typographical fixes.
Does what it says it does. However it really doesn't do much of anything useful. I can't turn on my A/C while I'm out ( I have pets at home ), or see what the current temp is. And I can't see what my current consumption is. With out those why would I even bother using the app when the website provides those features?
I wouldn't hold your breath for new features, like thermostat control. This app hasn't been updated in over 2 years. Which is a shame because the website control is actually quite nice and it's not really difficult to make the app have identical functionality.
What's the point?
I also live in Denver and all this app does is give access to the 2 outlets listed. Of course, one is for the computer and so is locked, so all I can do with this is turn off my TV, since it's on the other outlet. Major improvements needed. Not impressed at all.
