ENGINEERING PROFESSIONAL combines all of the formulas from our Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Environmental, Hydrology and Mechanical Engineering formulator apps. This program is perfect for any Engineering student. Over 650 formulas allow you to determine everything from calculations on shafts to calculation on loads on beams. This one app lets you calculate the widest range of calculations. In addition there are 100 conversion formulas, as well as a section for determining Area formulas.

All formulas can be saved. You can easily access recent or favorite formulas. You can also e-mail the results from any formulas. While we regularly upgrade and add formulas to the underlying programs, ENGINEERING PROFESSIONAL will be expanded as well. We expect ENGINEERING PROFESSIONAL to eventually grow to over 1,000 formulas.

Ratings and Reviews

Good App but missing units and conversions

Need to share from the app

Most critical review is that one would expect comprehensive quality review of a scientific app such as these apps. This app and others from the developer lack UNITS in most if not all of the conversions and formulations. This makes the app confusing. Once all units and conversions are introduced in the next release, it will be worth the cost.

The ability to share by email the calculations is nice.

It would also be nice to know where these formulas were derived from , ie reference a physics book, or environmental calculations table so that these tools can be used in a university setting where formulas and calculations are often required to be cited by the author.

If I knew the app lacked basic units of all these calculations, I would have held off with the purchase.

Please fix these Marc!!!

Gold price for sand

The price for this app would be much better spent on a calculator app, a reference app, and a cuppa Joe.

The derivation of results is purely black magic, often requiring information that has to come from another reference and then only covers solutions that lost sophmore engineering students could recite in their sleep.

Incomplete and a Rip Off

Richard Lucera

Bought this for the Environmental & Hydrology which was advertised in App Store description. The App contained no such functionality and was therefore a complete waste for me.
