This app provides an English IPA keyboard that can be installed for use anywhere on your iPhone or iPad. Installation instructions are included.
The keyboard lets you type the IPA characters that are necessary to fully represent the pronunciation of English, including regional variations. Keyboard layouts are separately optimized for iPhone (three layers) and iPad (two layers).
IPA is used in many parts of the world to teach or document the pronunciation of English and other languages.
The keyboard and iOS are designed to protect your privacy: The keyboard can send text you type only to the app within which it is used; nowhere else. It does not access any other of your data.
iOS 9 compatibility note: Please avoid using the new Chinese PingFang fonts with IPA characters – they display “ɪ” as something close to “ | ”.

Not fully compatible with iOS9
This is a great app, but I tried to use it today in iOS 9 and found a glitch in its ability to print the "short capital i" character. Here's what I got: [səkˌsɪŋkt] - no, wait, it works OK here, but when I used it today, it printed "s l ŋkt" instead. Tried it repeatedly with same results. Please check.
