Thanks for playing!
5 Stars because the game concept is simple, yet so engaging. It has a "Guitar Hero" element where you have to swipe in the correct direction. I think it did a decent job with most of the songs, but I was slightly disappointed when this game's version of the "Maple Leaf Rag" didn't live up to the original, and sounded more like a marching band (not that I don't marching bands, but this wasn't a completely astounding version.). So I'm still giving it 5 stars because overall it was a great game.
Some reviews may say that the swiping doesn't work, but don't believe them because they probably swiped diagonally and got frustrated enough just to complain to other people about something that is entirely their fault.
Never knew it
I honestly never knew that I wanted to be able to lead my own little orchestra of small pixelated characters. The design is charming and cute but exciting and fun at the same time. It's fun to see a giant ray of light beam down to your character to show that you've hit a streak or the fact that your orchestra members explode when you miss a note. Not to mention the fun and the music. I definitely need to play it on hard for it to be a challenge. Easy seemed so slow and hard helped me feel like I truly was leading a tiny band of pixelated artists.
I love this game so much and it is so cute. It combines classical music with a modern acoustic twist while using your fingers to tap to the music and making sure you keep your orchestra alive and not miss any notes. The music that it does play has a very video game like music feel to it. Just downloaded this game two days ago and did not hesitate in buying the full version, which was so worth it.
