This is hands down the best app I have. I use it mostly for a quick drug reference and I love the fact that it cuts to the chase. Its gives me exactly the info I need to know if the drug is safe. There is no extraneous nonsense I don't need. It is accurate and moves quickly through pages even with a poor wireless connection. I found a pill on a psychiatric pt a week ago and was able to identify it as oxycodone in seconds. Its very versatile and I don't know how I would function without it. I now work in a Cardiac Critical Care Unit and I am a better nurse because of Epocrates. Using my time more efficiently by using this app means I spend more time at the bedside. I got into the medical field in 1980 and would have never imagined having this much help from my phone.
No WIFI/internet to access other resources in my clinic. This is a great alternative for quick reference. Needs ICD-10 update, but otherwise no other complaints. Been using for 4 years now, keeps getting better with every update. Love the diagnostic quizzes with pictures!
Use it regularly!
Really like the app. I find the pill id feature up to date and very accurate. It's very useful for checking renewal Rx when the pill look different.
