Equalizer will not play DRM or iTunes Match music in iCloud. You need to convert DRM and download iCloud songs.
Equalizer is not providing the functionality for rendering your eq curve to the song. However, our other app: Remaster does!
From the reviews:
I connect my iphone 4 to a car audio system, with the application the music began to sound incomparably better ....
A little clear interface, but to understand it and understand need no more than 5-10 minutes. -- P_S_B_
This is the EQ I have been looking for, and because of bad ratings I almost passed on it! I consider myself an aspiring audiophile and have the equipment -- Klipsch, Sunfire, Nottingham, Denon, Paradigim, etc. -- (and debt) to back it up. This EQ performs flawlessly and is very easy to use. It enhanced my music dramatically. Yes, dramatically! Just make sure you are running the recommended IOS, as the developer suggests. -- J. Paul DiMaggio
PLEASE if you have concerns or encounter problems with the app: post on http://www.audioforge.ca and we will explain how things work, until you can use all the features of the app to the fullest. Thank you

If you are looking for a Equalizer and music player that can handle your hi-if style or even you just want something to sound better, look no further. This is the best EQ app have I used in my life. There is so much control, style, and innovation in this app. The UI is has tug every now and then. But it's easy to look over once you've put in your headphones. Even on Apple EarPods, with its not existent bass production through the iPhone, is sustained through the EQ. This is absolutely wonderful for the regular listener or the hardcore audiophile.
Ignore the haters...
...Equalizer is a great app.
The dynamic range on Equalizer is, imho, superior to other players that I've tried. Equalizer's also easy to use, from my experience. Nothing's too complex, especially if you're familiar with an in-home stereo system. Easy peazy.
The shuffle issue that people are complaining about is a nonissue if you take a half moment and turn the shuffle setting OFF! Duh!
My one gripe is the fact the Equalizer can't handle some of the DRM encoding on some purchases from the Apple Store. In a nutshell, it'll grey out the songs it can't/won't play, and you'll have to open a different app that can play 'em. It's a stinky setup that I wish would change, but it's worth the trade off for the better sound on the rest of one's music library.
Difficult to use and buggy, not worth the money or effort
I just got UE900's and decided I needed an EQ for good sound quality. I read reviews saying there's a steep learning curve, and boy should I have listened to that warning. The app is not user intuitive at all, it's buggy as hell (freezes frequently when changing tracks), and the online manual is for a different version with very different UI, meaning that there's no way you can figure things out by reading. I asked for a refund and just got a runaround set of unending questions while avoiding refund. Not the best way to earn a customer seeing as this was the first ever app I decided to purchase
