At first I was liking the game ok. Even though after the first story it surprised me that I was being tested on my own personality traits... when I was really answering according to what I thought was the “right” thing to say. Not actually what I would say.
Then I got to story 2. Loved the story line.
But now realizing my personality type was being tested I started to answer more honestly as to what I would actually do.
Well I made it past level 3 but was 1000 coins from being able to proceed.
And now will have to redo the tests because my personality type isn’t good enough to be successful in life? Is this the analogy? So to say-there’s better personality types than others?

thank you for your feedback, it's important to learn that the game can be misunderstood and we're working on finding a way to clarify the difference between the personality questions and the skills questions.

You do not get points for the personality questions, it's only asked to give you feedback at the end of each game.

We are purposely making our players repeat lessons to get enough coins to unlock the last 2 levels: that way we can be sure the skills are readily available in real life when encountering a potentially stressful situation.

We will take your feedback into consideration as we really don't want to make our players frustrated or unsure about their personality: we all shine in different ways.

Changing my life

I downloaded this app only a couple of days ago after I heard friends speaking about it. It already changed my behavior.. I’m way more conscious. I first think about the things I say and the potential consequences. I try to put myself into my partners shoes. For me, this app helps learning more about empathy and, as a result, it makes me understand people behaviors better. I feel better and more confident and most important: the app is fun. Love the design

Nag nag nag

Has some fun knowledge I think the examples are fine until you deal with the mother-in-law. I know we have to deal with difficult people but rewarding bad boundaries and abuse is okay? I am suppose to ignore that while learning my new skills? No thanks! Grandma can find a hotel and her own restaurant, you don’t reward being treated like garbage unless you want more of the same. Actions and behaviors speak louder than words. The game is very aggressive about getting a good rating but in the wrong way. You have to spam ur own FB account or redo stories to get to the MIL level.

Developer Response ,

Dear Fernortmer,

thank you for your feedback, and we really appreciate you finishing the game to the end. I'm sorry the Mother-in-law story left you feeling unhappy with the whole experience. I agree wholeheartedly that boundaries are important and sometimes it's best for one's mental health to lodge a family member outside one's home. The goal of the story is, though, to use the skills learned in the game to communicate, self-regulate one's emotions and deal with emotional and mental stress in a healthy way. Our group of accredited psychologists who wrote the story felt that it was safe to deal with the Mother-in-law character armed with the skills practiced all the levels before. We will revise this, however.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean with 'getting good reviews in a bad way', please send us an explanation via email to: and we will take that into consideration.

Please have another look at the sharing option: it is not intended to spam, you only get 20 coins for sharing, not nearly enough to unlock a level: the idea of having to redo a few lessons is that repetition ensures the skills are properly learned and readily available when you encounter a potentially stressful situation in real life. While it may be annoying, it can be the difference between suffering and striving in certain situations.

Thank you for coming on this journey with us and helping us make eQuoo better.
