need to have brightness up, and zoom is good on iphone. doesnt stay clear enough in 2x
need to have brightness up, and zoom is good (not great) on iPhone (version i got because its cheaper). doesnt stay clear enough in 2x on iPad to make out objects. the accuracy indicator is a hassle because small items in dark areas are very hard to find (have to "search" areas to find things). many items i "found" were by my finger dragging the screen around which can register as click for accuracy and/or not being on an object but clicking and losing accuracy. i had to use hint a few times. iPad 2x iPhone view may not be good ... finger drags objects but they arent under finger many times (dino head is best for rope dropped on/near it, not pulley). maybe iPad version would be better on this but i cant afford what i would like to get at iPad prices.
may get iPad free version and see if it plays better ... cant afford to buy it though.
While this game's concept is a good one, the execution is terribly flawed. The variety of mini games is a plus. It has good graphics and a story that's easy to follow. However, the mini games themselves are childishly easy. The hidden objects in the somve of the item hunts are too poorly rendered to identify, and the escape scenarios are also to simple. The other big problem is the mechanics of the hidden object games. You are penalized for random screen tapping, which is understandable, but if you zoom in on a hidden object screen, you get a penalization every time you touch the screen to scroll through it. Very uncool. Also the narrative sequences are far too long and dull. Overall, I would only recommend this game to much younger or unskilled gamers. Vets of the genre, save your money.
Seems poor quality
This is the worst quality big fish game I've ever played. Usually the quality is much better. This game seems kind of old from its graphics and also the weird displaying of the initial title screen as it takes time to load when you move between screens- very disruptive. The graphics are too dark and low res to be seen clearly. VERY difficult to make out objects in HO scene. The dialogue between the mother and daughter is stilted and corny sounding.
