My kids LOVE this!

I have 3 kids: 12, 9, 5 and while they are not "experienced gamers" as the other review states, they caught on easily, and really enjoy playing. As a parent, I love that it's challenging enough for my 12yo to enjoy (the option of basic vs precision control for the steering is great), and simple enough that my 5yo gets it. I also appreciate that when my child crashes I hear giggling instead of crying and whining. I like that it's challenging enough for them to work towards improvement, it's not just the same thing over and over again, and that they need to master certain levels to unlock the next achievement. It reminds me of the Mario games in a way...the kids like jumping and collecting the coins and stars and they love being able to use them to buy gears and gadgets to enhance their play. My 12 yo old said this was the "funnest racing game I've played" and liked it so much that it was the first game she downloaded to her new tablet...and she chose to pay for it, having already played it on my iPad. We think this game is great! I also think that an experienced gamers inability to master it has more to do with the player than the son is on level 6 on day 1 and he's experience needed! Overall, we all agree that it is a 5 star game!

It's not broken, but it is bad.

Give the game a few minutes and you'll figure out the controls and gadgets you can use as boosts. A few more minutes and you'll realize just how awful the level design is. I can possibly see the opening level as one that may appear much later in the game as the pay wall starts to show itself, but for the "intro" level with zero tutorial, it's ridiculous. E.g., you start the game pointing right at a ramp that should let you jump a tree and collect a star. Fun! However, hitting the ramp at high speed, using the rockets, etc. you just plow into the tree every time. Even if you avoid the ramp you can only go a tiny bit more before you hit one of the myriad obstacles and hit game over once more. Far more obstacles than collectibles, no tutorial, no forgiveness in the slightest crashes, no rewards for what you manage to collect, poor controls, awful level design, no gradual increase in difficulty....the list goes on. This game is an exemplar of how not to produce a game. Download while it's currently free if you like, but don't expect much.

Equal parts FUN and ADDICTIVE!!!!

A very original take on the downhill racer style game! Graphics, music, concept, level design, gameplay are all EXCELLENT! Well thought out and put together. One of the most fun and original game apps I've played in a long time. Challenging, but pays off big once you get the hang of it. The name couldn't be more perfect either. Looking forward to more from this design team!
