What's New in Version 3.6
- Updated for iOS 8
- Performance Improvements
New Update- We're not stupid...
I don't review apps. But man, I've found myself reviewing this app at least 3 times within the past two years. If I could, I would give this ESPN app 0 stars.
I'm not going to cover each problem with this app- I'd just be repeating myself from the previous reviews...but this latest update...all you essentially do is redo the logo?? I can sense that changes are coming due to the color scheme changes, but cmon! This is baseball season! I understand football may be more popular ($$$) but your development team should put the same amount of effort you use for football into the baseball season.
Most of these demands from users are minor, and have been duplicated in the football app (which isn't that great either imo). So why is it that difficult to create a meaningful update for baseball since the 2012 season? I've never gotten a sense of negligence from other apps in the Apple Store before, but this surely seems like you're neglecting the thousands of people who are looking for a better user experience.
Needs update and draft.
Enjoy the app and have since it first came out. But it has fallen behind the times and is very elementary in options for us users. It does need to have a few more of the same functions as the football app does. For example a draft function. So much more fun to be able to bust out the phone and do a draft any place any time. Please add the mock and live draft modes soon for us! Used to be a good app. But now it's just there. Nothing special anymore. Blah.
A disappointing update
When I saw that ESPN updated Fantasy Baseball for iOS 8, I was expecting it to look like the Fantasy Football update from last fall. When I opened the app I was disappointed. Inside, the app looks exactly the same. The app isn't even optimized for iPhone 6/6+. It's almost like there are different teams for the apps because there is no consistency between the apps. I have a feeling that another update may come shortly, though because I think they made an error in the version of the app, but for now this is the only way to draw attention to it.
