Euchre is fun card game played by four people. In this version of Euchre, a deck of 24 cards is used. You play with a computer partner against two computer opponents. You will not be disappointed by the computer players - they know what they are doing.

Usually good game but...

I don't like how my partner has called loners on hands such as Jack, 10 suited and a off-suit ace. On expert mode might I add. No player in their right mind would call a loner off the right and 10. It's just plain stupid.
Not only this, but about 1 in every 5 or 6 hand I am given a combination of 4 9s and 10s. This is very unrealistic as I have played thousands of tricks of euchre and this never happens that often. I just ran into another partner issue too. I, the dealer, had passed the card on top of the kitty and my partner called hearts. I had the left ace king and queen of hearts and another offsuit ace. He wasn't stuck and no player calls a suit off the right alone.
The last gameplay flaw is that my opponents have gotten 3 straight loner hands in a row. That's nearly impossible. And its happened on multiple occasions.
Yet again all this was on expert.
However, despite these flaws, the gameplay is still very solid and usually realistic. App has yet to crash after 200+ games and I have never had any issues with the gameplay.

Cornice Games Euchre

I play only expert level because the other two aren't competitive. My computer partner must be one of the worst Euchre players ever to deal the cards. He often tries to go alone without either of the bowers. He orders up the trump card to men or to our opponents when he has only two trump cards I his hand, such as the off jack and a ten. The only reason we win is that the two computer opponents are equally stupid. This game is tremendously disappointing an an extreme waste of money if you are looking for a sensible Euchre game.

Mixed feelings

The interface is delightful! I haven't tried "expert yet, after 40 games. Play on "easy" is definitely not for a beginner.

Play on "intermediate" has problems. No matter what setting, if I call alone, "left of loner" is in effect. Also, at this level, my partner apparently calls on absolutely nothing, getting us euchred every other hand. Lastly, all AI players ALWAYS "lead to bleed"; a strategy that gets old, and creates bad habits, playing with or against.

There is an ap called Pocket Euchre that has a far superior AI and far more options but annoying interface. I am torn between these aps!
