Handy links take you straight to check-in, boarding passes, flight status, flight booking, services and much more. The app allows you to plan, book and manage flights and extra services all on your mobile.
This function allows you to have your booking, your flight status and flight readily available. You can also follow flights and will receive reminders on any changes, such as gate changes*. It's also easy to access the check-in function and book additional services.
You can store and manage your boarding passes in one place in Passbook/Wallet.
If you log in via your Eurowings account, you will receive push reminders with up-to-date information on your flights, when you can check in, any changes to your flight times or to your departure gate*. Make sure that in your iPhone settings you have activated your location services and message settings.
Data export to local calendar
You can now export all your booking details to a local calendar to have all information on your flight visible on each respective date.
You can check in with the Eurowings app 72 hours before departure. You can store your boarding pass on your smartphone or call it up offline.
You can use your stored personal account details, which you use on eurowings.com, to deal with your upcoming flights even more quickly.

Why do I need to enter my personal information and travel document information to use the web and mobile check-in features?
When flying from, to or over certain countries airlines are required by law to collect additional passenger data and transmit it to local authorities via the Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) for security reasons. This regulation generally covers the reporting of information on your identity and travel documents (passport, national ID card). We recommend that you submit the APIS information as early as possible.
Add extra services
Before departure you can book further items of checked luggage or choose a seat, as long as you haven't yet checked in. Save a considerable amount by booking extras before you arrive at the airport!
It's quick and easy to change your booking before departure on your mobile. You can change the date of your Eurowings flight before check-in closes prior to departure.
You also collect miles with our frequent-flyer programme, the Boomerang Club, or Miles and More if you book a flight on your mobile.

The app and your gate
I was trying to go to Salzburg from Hamburg. Got the the airport early wanted at gate C07 and kept checking for updates on the app for gate changes and listening for any announcements. No info change on the app also Eurowings doesn’t count paying attention to your app as being responsible. I missed my flight and it’s apparently “my fault” granted when 5 of us ran to the correct gate from the original gate there was still a bus outside the door and still 20 minutes before the flight took off. But no they wouldn’t let any of the 5 of us get on the plane. They sent us to customer service which was a joke. It was more like customer judgement and ridicule and they didn’t want to deal with us so they put us on the phone with another customer service rep he only offered to refund the airport tax. He then passed us off to another rep and the real kicker, one of the desk reps comes over and decides we’ve been on the phone for too long and threatens to hang up the phone and call security. Don’t fly with Eurowings. Spend a little extra go somewhere else.
I just downloaded the app a few minutes ago. Tried to check in for my flight tomorrow using the app and was told I had to “download the most recent version”. I was unable to proceed with my checkin. And of course, there is not a more updated version than the one I just downloaded. According to the app itself it was updated a week ago! Grade = F
