What's New in Version 4.3.2
- Bug fixes and performance improvements
Update is a big step backwards, STILL.
In the old version, when viewing a list of events, you could read the whole event title. Now it's just a few words, and not enough to know what the event is about. So now browsing events on the iPhone is much harder and not worth the effort. They're making the same mistake that the iTunes App Store has been making forever on the iPhone. Why would I tap on an app or an event when the title is so truncated that it reveals almost nothing about the app or event?
Also, as in the older version, the sorting filter should be more powerful, with descending order of importance. For example, I should be able to sort first by distance, then by date, then by price from lowest to highest.
No Ticket Reserve as you enter CC info
I was very disappointed in my experience with this ticket purchasing platform. I had logged in for an event, and as soon as the tickets became available I clicked through. I had entered my CC info, and ALL of the additional information requested. As I clicked to submit my purchase, I was told tickets were unavailable. Eventually the status changed to 'sold out'. I already had requested 2 tickets and entered my information. I do not understand how the tickets I am currently purchasing can be sold to other people! Definitely a flaw in the set-up. I am very disappointed to be missing a great experience due to this site, and do not recommend for other events to use.
Nice app, has bug though
Like it, but app has a bug. I was able to create an Eventbrite account without problem. I created the account because I wanted to be able to save favorite events. At first everything was working, I saved a list of 12 events that I was interested in. Then after searching and finding the 13 event of interest, then adding it, it saved but the previously added 12 events were lost. I searched on my first topic, and from that resultset I saved 12 events without problem. Then I searched on my second topic, and added 1 from that resultset, it was at that time that the previously added 12 were lost.
