If your place of employment, local government or university uses the Everbridge Mass Notification Platform to deliver vital information during emergency incidents, critical activities or weather events, you can now get the most current notifications and share responses via the Everbridge Mobile Member application.
Everbridge Mobile Member allows subscribing organizations & communities to send notifications to your mobile device without the use of SMS or email. View and reply to messages with a survey response, an image, current location data and any additional information you feel will be beneficial to share.
Subscribing organizations & communities may also provide you with the ability to initiate messages and share messages with your extended network directly from the Everbridge Mobile Member application via E-mail, Text Message or Twitter.
With full control over your privacy settings, you can decide what information is shared and sent to your organization or community government.
NOTE: This application requires users to be registered users of the Everbridge Web Member Portal. This application also requires a current subscription for the notifying organization or community to the Everbridge Mass Notification Platform.
What's New in Version 4.1.0
Along with a few other usability enhancements, we have added the ability for rich text notifications to display directly in the message body instead of being delivered as an attachment.
In addition, this release allows you to sign in using your organization's Single Sign On credentials if your Everbridge Administrator has enabled this feature for your account.
More navigation options needed
Good overall but would be much easier to use with some basic email navigation tools like a 'next' button within each message and a 'mark all as read.' I read the messages as they come across my lock screen but unless I want to manually click on each message in my queue, I can't get rid of the annoying unread message marker. I have 175 unread messages and it's getting worse, not better.
Another good feature would be for the messages to self-cancel once the situation was restored, of the ability to set a timeout (in hours, days, weeks, etc.) after which the message would be marked as read. I can't imagine a situation where this system would be used wherein one incident went on for days or weeks without regular updates.
Good Accessible App For This Platform
Once sign up is accomplished via the web and credentials are entered within the app
I’m happy to report that version 4.1.0 of this app is accessible with VoiceOver for the blind. All elements report and behave properly. I’ve had no problem receiving all alerts I set up for my location. I’m pleasantly surprised and appreciative of the accessible nature of this app.
Good app, needs a little more
My job uses everbridge a lot, so it's nice to have an app that displays the messages. I can't stop having emails sent until the app can include a badge to show how many notifications you have. Please add that.
