Issues that need to be fixed.

The game has great promise, but there some major bugs right the gate. This game just came out so I understand there may be some bugs, but bugs like these should have been addressed before release. The issues here are that all the weapons keep disappearing and adding new teammates beyond a fourth person turns the teammate into a useless maxed out goblin dragon that’s nonexistent in battles. Also it is saying that there is network connectivity issues, when there clearly aren’t. For example getting the login bonuses is impossible due to supposed network connectivity issues that do not exist. Please fix! Thanks! I am enjoying the game so far btw.

EDIT: Everything is fine now. Thanks for fixing. The game is really great. The battles take a bit of strategy and that’s okay. The enemies could be closer in level, but what’s a good battle with out a challenge, right? Anyway, everything is fixed. Thanks for a continual good experience.

UPDATE: Could you all not make the bosses so outrageously overpowered, because a boss should not be one shoting a hero on your team that is a way higher level than the boss (especially when the hero’s a 4 star SR). Even taking two heroes out with one shot is too overpowered, especially if both heroes are a higher level than the boss. Fix this please. No one likes being stuck fighting Gyurelle with her cheap overpowered tactics!!

Decently fun, but you start to hit a wall later on unless you’re super dedicated to grinding and know how to space out your mana. I’d say look up what units you’ll need for later and use your beginning materials to level them up early because it gets fairly difficult to raise them later. Beyond that, the only real problem I have is with the summoning. In the first place, most gacha games tend to be free with microtransactions here and there but also tend to have multiple ways to earn the premium currency. I’ve played nearly every gacha game you’ll find on the App Store, and while what I said isn’t always true, it’s generally the case. As a paid game, I’d think you’d be a little more lenient with the summons and the ways to get gems. 1000 gems isn’t too bad at first until you clear the main missions and are left with only a few achievements and login bonuses as the only ways to get more unless you buy some. Which brings me to my next point, your prices. $24 for one 10 pull is obscene, especially when coupled with the fact that you have, at best, a 1% chance of pulling an SSR. If you want to see more revenue, I’d say consider changing your rates and your prices because as they are, it isn’t worth dropping any money into the game. Anyone reading this, I’d advise you to stay F2P unless you have cash to burn and are feeling really lucky.

Great overall game but a few issues

Evertale is definitely one of my favorite games. I had beat Act 1 in about 5 days by playing so much. I liked how you were able to move around the map but catching monsters are rather useless. Even the “unique” monsters are bad. Summoning is always a gamble and I have one SSR character from about 10? 1000 gem summons. She’s a poison/earth type and I keep on trying to find new characters that have poison as well for great synergy but I never get them in summons. I wish the devs would have different types of summons, one for each type of character. The mana system is kind of annoying but it only takes 20 gems to refill to your max mana which doesn’t seem like much but adds up over time. Act 2 and 3 stories are very bland compared to Act 1. I remember when I finally beat the end boss of Act 1 I was so excited as I watched/read the dialogue. Now, the devs probably ran out of ideas and have became sort of lazy or want to pump out new Acts as soon as possible so there will be no free roam in the new Acts. Lastly, I feel that there should be more events, because they do reward you quite a bit and the stories are quite interesting. I also have to mention that the game constantly crashes for me and sometimes I have to redo a battle midway. That’s all and I hope you find this review helpful.
