Once upon time, there was a tale of mighty heroes, protectors of the realm, and the saviors of many damsels in distress. This…is not that tale.
This is a tale of unlikely Heroes. Embark on journeys of not-so-epic proportions with Sir Jorgin, the noble knight past his prime; Arwick, the ladies man and elf rogue; and Taragon, wize, old, and somewhat senile wizard. Welcome….to Evertales.
Quest with 3 unique heroes:
• Sir Jorgin, the mighty knight, is a fierce melee fighter and can take a punch!
• Arwick the Elf specializes in ranged weapons, charm, and an attractive double jump!
• Taragorn the Senile wields tight spells a loose tongue, and the power to levitate!

What's New in Version 1.2
-minor fix in forest level
Can't beat it for free.
This game is fun. It's a side scrolling game reminiscent of older titles. The graphics are nice and I haven't run into any problems. The game offers in game currency for real money but unlike other games this game actually means it when they say you can beat the entire game without spending real money. You just have to grind it out. Unlike other games of the same ilk however coins are readily available throughout the games levels. This is a quality title that won't nickel and dime you. I'm going to buy coins just to giv the developer money. Funny how its easier to do with a game like this over the EA free to play rip off titles. If you're on the fence get this game, it's great. Three characters, multiple weapons and costumes to unlock. You will want to give the dev money when you see how cool they are about this truly free game.
Not bad, but could be better
Playing this on the new iPad, I found it to be rather "blah". The graphics are nice, but it"s just a side scrolling game. Many 3D games out there allow you to walk in all directions, but not this one.
I booted up the game and was immediately shown ads. This is a free game, sure, so I understand, but they're also looking to sell you gold coins from within the game to deck out your characters. Do one or the other. Not both. No one likes to see ads. Also, the coin buying process doesn't tell you within the game how much the gold coins are for real world money. You don't find out until you click it and you're sent to the app store where you"re prompted with an "are you sure you want to buy 400 coins for 99 cents?". One wrong click and you're out money. They really should display the prices from within the game.
Lastly, the gameplay. It's a side scroller on an iPad, so the gameplay is not going to compete with a PSP or any handheld game console. You find yourself swiping your finger a LOT to go right, right, right, right, jump, right, right, jump, right...etc.
The game would be loads better if you had 360 degree motion, but you don't.
So I give it 3 stars. Is not a bad game, and it has a ton of potential, but until the fix a few things I mentioned above and make it 360 degree gameplay, my rating sits at 3 stars.
How is this free?
This game is awesome. The graphics are great, and I can't believe it was free. The only thing is I wish I didn't finish it so quickly. They should think of making a similar version that is like an epic and I would pay for that. I also love that fact it's a game where you can go back and forth on the screen since so many games now have the main character rushing through the stage.
