McGraw-Hill’s Monster Squeeze game reinforces number recognition and offers a quick and easy way to practice number line concepts and number comparisons. This two-player game runs on the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch.
Players take turns finding the secret number on a number line. In each round, the monster designates a secret number on a number line. Players try to guess this number by clicking one of the numbers. If the number chosen is larger than the secret number, that number and all larger numbers on the number line are covered by the monster. If the number chosen is smaller than the secret number, that number and all smaller numbers on the number line are covered by the monster. Players take turns clicking numbers until one of them identifies the secret number and wins the round. There are a total of 5 rounds in a game.

Cute educational tool, Like The changing range of numbers
This is a very cute educational tool for teaching Kids their numbers and the concept of greater than and less than. The octopus is adorable. The game is short enough that kids do not lose interest midway through. I especially like the ability to choose a specific range of numbers for each game (0-10, 10-20, or 20-30) and well as have a different ranges of numbers chosen randomly for each round.
We like it
This is a nice game that young ones can play with older ones and have just as good a chance of winning. One thing I would like to improve is wait time between players turns. It is too long. My little one pushes her number repeatedly. It doesn't respond so she ends up pushing all over the place in frustration. Perhaps there could be a mode without the speech that responds more quickly.
Perfect and so cute!
This game is perfect for my preschool and kindergarten students. My preschoolers at home love it, too! I like the ability to change the range of the number line. My only wish is that it went all the way to 100!
