Great, but not for the price
The app itself works excellently. It has a beatiful interface and it lays out your hard-drive very intuitively. The colors are vibrant and are a nice touch. Overall the app is great. However, the price is not ($7 as of this writing). A more suitable price would be $1, to be honest. I got the app with a gift card so I don't feel like I've wasted any money, but I would not recommend buying this if you actually have to pay. There is a great free alternative called GrandPerspective. It lacks the visual flare of Eximo, but it does the job well and still gives a visual representation. So overall, Eximo is a great app but don't buy it unless it's on sale or you have some extra cash.
Great when it was working, then it stopped
When I first installed this app, I loved it. However, at some point in the last few months, it stopped working. It simply won't launch. The problem is isolated to this app alone - all others are fine.
I contacted the developer several times. To his credit, he did respond each time, but his last response was, basically, "I haven't heard of this." He said he'd email back if he figured anything out. Well… it's a few months later and I haven't heard.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. I tried deleting preferences files and application images. I tried monitoring the console. Nothing works.
So, I now have a useless app that I paid for that I can't use. Dissapointed.
So fast, so usable
I'll admit for the first 3 seconds I was very confused by the interface. It's so much easier than clicking through folder tree views, though! For Lion users looking for a replacement for Disk Inventory X, this utility is worth every penny. It's the best way I've found to get a visual idea of what's taking up all your hard drive space.
