Translation needs adjusting
I use this app to read Russian. Unfortunately, I am not good with Russian, so I use the translation feature in the app to learn new words and idioms. The biggest problem for me with this app is that the translation of a phrase covers up the original phrase. It would be much better if the translation did not cover the phrase being translated.
Easy to use...once you figure out how!
Ex Libris is fairly easy to use, but it took a bit of searching to find instructions. In the interests of full screen readability, the controls are hidden. A touch to the screen will bring them up, and the icons aren't too hard to figure out. Moving files into Ex Libris is likewise a hidden process, but fairly easy once you find it. A bug: sometimes the titles get jumbled up so they don't match their contents, and it is a bit of a shell game to find the one you want.
The reader interface is lovely, and it locks either portrait or landscape, which these poor eyes love! Quite a few print sizes too!
Cannot erase highlighting
The app works pretty nicely. I like the layout and functionality. Two problems: you cannot simply highlight the text automatically with a swipe of your finger like in Kindle or iBooks. You have to go into the little window to select the color first. Every time. This is annoying. The other problem is more serious: I cannot erase highlighting once it is in. This is terrible. Please fix that. Otherwise, again, the app looks very nice and I would like to use it more.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
