Great refresher, type combo list is the best!

This app is an awesome little refresher on the rules of typography. The fact that it allows you to play with different aspects of the text like the size of exdents AND the size of the text as well teaches the user how the different techniques applied in typography are interconnected. My favorite part of the app, however, is the type combo list. The list alone is worth the cost of the app!

Great book alone

Great book to have and to reference it's not a cheap book so getting this book for a steal at this price. But I recommend it for uses that have iPads because even though u can use it on your phone difficult to work and read when using it on that small of a screen.

Not sure

I've studied Graphic Design at one of the best art schools in the United States and I've done freelance design work. I hate to sound negative but I don't get this app. Basically, they want you to purchase stuff. It teaches nothing. I thought it would be great for me as a little exercise to get rid of my "rustiness" but I just don't see where this is going. It's not worth $7.99. There's nothing to it.
Can somebody enlighten me as to why I paid almost 8 bucks for this??
I believe I will find out how I can get my money back for this.
