I like this app, but it's a bit annoying
My first request is that you enable editing of favorites. My favorites are full of people I don't text and it's frustrating, I would really like to change it, but you guys might never see this, so I doubt I'll ever be able to.
Another thing is, the messenger emojis keep changing back to default emojis over and over again. It's usually after I close the messenger app and start it again. It's really annoying because I actually like the messenger emojis, and the default ones look really ugly in the app.
My second request: can you let us edit the tabs on the bottom of the screen too, I don't think the "games" tab is useful to me, I don't even play those stupid games, and I would much rather have a settings tab there instead, please let us change this.
Overall, I love being able to message my friends whenever I can, it's very satisfying, but I would really like to see these three items fixed.
Read receipts and last active is ruining the progress of this app!
In the beginning; Facebook messenger was forced on us as a new and only way to now communicate with your friends.... it has evolved into a formidable messenger however two major flaws or lack of option rather will coerce me into shying away from my beloved messenger and I feel the need to make others aware ad hopefully share in my thoughts. The last active with the time stamp has been inaccurate and has subsequently caused awkward situations where friends have thought to be ignored or were being avoided and thus creating a confrontational situation, the read receipts are also causing similar situations. It would be wise Facebook corrects these features and hopefully add options to toggle these features so that it would be fun again and useful; instead of being a sacrifice every time we sign on, more over I have longed hoped the Touch ID would be utilized in order to create added security within the application. At first I didn't like it at ALL. But then when I started using it, I became more use to it. I tried it and I eventually liked it. Just like broccoli!!
I'm older so technology is harder for us and our brains. But once I get it and use it and understand it, it makes me happy. Messenger is just that. You have to use it to understand it.
So use it and #BeHappy!!
Big shout out to #MarkZ for inventing Facebook in the first place. I'm forever in awe of your genius. And thanks to all your employees who are forever making Facebook be the best it can be. Confuses me at times but eventually I get the updates and tweaks. I love it. #WorldChanger and that's #SOCOOL!! ✌️
