When will FB hear us

We don't want two feeds. We don't want your algorithms deciding what you think we want to see. We just want to see the items in the order received. Seeing way too much junk. There needs to be a way to control whether or not I want to see everything a person likes or comments on. A while back there was more control. Now it's either all or nothing. For many people that are only acquaintances I only want to see something that they enter in their status. I don't want to see junk they share or like or all of their photos. My only option is to not follow them...or un-friend them.
Also why does their need to be two feeds that are almost feeds and recent? There are only subtle differences. I end up wasting time scrolling through a lot of the same info just to see the few differences.
I also hesitate to comment. like or share anything because I know everyone will see it and not just the person I wrote the comment for or liked their post.
I have just a handful of close friends for which I want to see everything. Most of the other people I just don't follow. It's a shame. I would love to keep in touch if I could just limit to a status that they actually type in.
Please wake up FB and hear our cries.

Getting old

Videos almost never work correctly, until recently the volume goes in and out spontaneously, but I have reason to believe that this issue has been resolved. Also the notifications are getting out of hand. I do not need to hear about something or another once or twice a day, but I never see one day without at least one notification from this app. I care about birthdays and tags and things like that but if something doesn't happen for 12 hours then FB makes up a random notification and sends it to me. I am seeing the results of what must be a behavior experiment which is definitely impressive and providing results as only things that I am interested in are popping up on my notifications, but at least cool it on the frequency. Facebook absolutely monitors any and all activity within their domain and uses it quite strategically to formulate suggestions and notifications and even organize the news feed. This is interesting and possibly groundbreaking, but at least let the participants know what they are doing and make it easier to opt out while still receiving the general benefits of being involved in a non invasive social media website.

Getting real sick of the STUPID changes

I can not imagine what it's like in a meeting with the people in charge of updates. Do you guys just sit around trying to think of the last thing that possibly needs to change?? Apparently the people there don't have accounts themselves because they have NO CLUE what we want. I don't know a single person who only views top stories instead of most recent. At first you guys made it where every time I logged on I'd have to switch to most recent and now you've just gotten rid of it?? WHY. I don't want to see the same 20 posts over and over again. Also the app keeps freezing and crashing, especially if I'm posting a photo. You guys need to get your act together because every time I update the app I just get more and more irritated at the pointless changes you feel the need to go through the trouble to make. You aren't improving anything! How about making videos actually upload in HD? (And I mean legit HD). I can't believe you spend all that energy on making changes that make no sense at all instead of really focusing on making a fun social media app. I feel like you guys have no idea what you're doing. Updates for the sake of updates.
