Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Facebook doesn't run GPS in the background unless you give us permission by turning on optional features that require this.

Can't see comments after update
Thanks for once again ruining Facebook. Now after I'm tagged in something and there are comments after me I can no longer read the other comments. For example when I'm tagged on a post I see my name and comments will say "8 comments" so I click on it and nothing shows. Also when clicking on a notification in a group post it does the same thing along with making the original post small looking and then shows all kinds of other posts from the group which I'm not even interested in reading
Quit making Facebook worse. Next time a half decent one comes out I'm done updating. Tired of being torchered for nothing.
UPDATE: Hate the new update. Now messenger icon is in the corner and this stupid marketplace crap is annoying as crap. Once again facebook just keep making more shittier updates and not fix the real issues people are having with it
The app doesn't seem to be improving much, and looks like it can use an overhaul. I'm unimpressed with the Messenger service splitting away into its own app, and now use a mobile browser instead if I feel the need to message someone over Facebook. Also, the lack of patch notes with each update is very much a cop-out, and saying that the app will get improvements every two weeks is basically saying nothing at all.
One of my primary gripes is that I have to dig into the settings just to view posts by "Most Recent", and once I'm there I can still accidentally close it by swiping right. This applies even if you're swiping up in an arc by accident while scrolling, so it'll close the feed and then you have to start over at the top.
Facebook has continued to force new aspects of their site/app on users in frustrating ways. First they forced people to download a separate app to get a full chat/messaging experience which fragmented and complicated their interfaces, and now they have moved the link to messages to a small icon in the top left corner. They replaced the original position with their new Facebook Marketplace. This is clearly an attempt to market this new functionality in a way that is hostile to the user. It takes the most prominent spot in the UI where the messenger button was before, which I'm sure means people will accidentally tap on it. This is underhanded and frustrating. I really hope they switch it back or re-modify it again, because I can't stand the new interface choices.
