The pictures are great and it's apt faster, the only thing I have a problem with is the print somehow on the latest version is so much smaller and because I have glaucoma it is very hard fore to read the post ! This is the only way I can keep in touch with my Son who is in Afghanistan he is USA Navy and my second son David is in Japan ( Air Force) and my third son is on the other side of the United States from me he is a Minister in the Church ! My Sons travel all over and this is my form of communication with them , I'm 70 yrs old and have a great need to stay in touch with Momma's Boys ! If the print could be made just a wee bit larger it would be great ! Thank you ❤️Sole 10

New App Removes Useful Function for Visually Impaired

Dear Facebook Dev Team,

By choosing to remove the option to "Open in Safari" news and other web links on your app, you've made it more difficult for visually impaired users such as myself to make use of Safari's "Reader" option. In case you're unfamiliar with this tool, it allows me to zoom just the text of a webpage/news story etc, without having to zoom my entire screen.

You've replaced the open in safari option with a simple "copy link" which means I must now leave Facebook, open safari myself, and paste the link. I'm sure you did this because you prefer that people use your own inferior web browsing tool, but u too you implement a reader function such as that in safari, it would be great if you'd consider restoring the "Open I. safari" option. This was an unnecessary change on your part, that was clearly intended to increase your own web browser'a presence on the web rather than improve your users' experience.

Needs to focus on user and not what Facebook staff prefers

Besides the horrible requirement that we download messenger and the resulting problems from that (reviewed under messenger app), Facebook is now pushing for your phone number *in the interests of security*. They further tell you how many people have added their phone numbers. First that is a privacy violation for those users, but second, I should get to determine whether or not to add my phone number. But Facebook doesn't make closing this request easy, indeed, Facebook requests your number every time you open the app. Further, the request is significantly big that you can't see any posts until you deal with this request or scroll further. There should be a way to close it for good, but that doesn't support Facebook's preference, so we are constantly annoyed. Really, it's almost easier and better to simply open Facebook in a web browser on my phone.
