Many improvements needed

Overall, Facebook is generally acceptable as ways to pass time go, but for a company that does nothing except program what people see in their timeline, they have a long way to go to get it right. If a person "likes" a page, ofttimes they will only see 10% of the posts from that Facebook page. I guess Facebook realizes that it is hard for people to see everything from every liked page and everything from every friend. But rather than decide for people, it should let people decide what percentage of posts from each source they prefer to see. There could be a sliding bar from 0% to 100% for every friend and every liked page. And Facebook REALLY needs to stop forcing the timeline to the top the page just because some time has passed. I'm sure there are plenty of other improvements that should be made. Facebook just needs to run some focus groups to find out what the people want. After all, that is what really matters.

Very lousy!

If you really want to know how you all can improve, here's your answer! STOP MAKING CHANGES ALL TOGETHER!!!!!! This new supposed improvement, doesn't help that this application is still going to get a one star rating on iTunes. I've requested multiple times to please put the feature back on our apps, where we can swipe down to mark notifications as read. Last time I checked, people start at the top and go down for their notifications and news feeds. This is, America, not China! I will be forced to eventually take the Facebook application off my iPad and to use the safari browser if adequate changes aren't made in a timely manner. So this app, gets a one star. If you want to make changes how about seriously making the application load faster even on a slow internet connection. It really lags bad on iPad 2, iOS 8.

Pointless and stupid changes once more.

This update adds a bar at the bottom from which you can access your News Feed, Friend Requests, Messenger, Notifications, and "More." Such a great improvement, right? Except for the fact that I could already do this in the previous version from the top of the screen. All this bar does is block more of my screen from actually showing content.
Way to screw us over once again, Facebook app developers.

I realize it enables you to go back to your newsfeed quickly from other posts (rather than hitting a back arrow several times, you just hit the News Feed icon). However, this could EASILY have been added into the old, top-of-the-screen toolbar.
