No more "top stories"
I do not use this app anymore and haven't since fb made the "top stories" the default mode. I don't want to see posts from days ago, I want to see most recent and in order of post. I sincerely doubt anyone else like this either but you push out meaningless updates week after week. The only reason I can see you are forcing this on us is to cram more ads in our news feed. If you tried this on the web version, I am certain you would be history in a week. At least give us a real option of permanent choice on how we view our feed. Then we would all be happy. I had a choice to buy an IPhone but you offer no choice for your product. The splitting off of the messenger app was also a bad idea as I can see by the ratings.
Why didn't you leave it alone?
I was just fine with the way the app was before, especially since I could have the news feed set to Most Recent without having to go into a completely different area. Now everything is so messed up that I often find myself exiting out of the Most Recent feed since I'm used to backing out of posts that I read by hitting that arrow up in the corner. Just put it back the way it was before for iPad and stop thinking that you're doing us a favor.
Not everybody likes it...
Well.... The new mobile thing is not to my liking, as opposed to others who finds it convenient. I use the facebook app just to look at my messages, notifications, and the newsfeed, altogether, nothing more. All that I needed was there in one place. Now, what's the point of facebook if it's gonna sit there like an old newspaper without the messages...
Obviously Messenger is another app that requires more space in my iPad, an app for people who hardly ever likes to look at the newsfeed, which I absolutely refuse to do so. Therefore, facebook is now off of my iPad, until many updates later should it ever be fixed.
