Would you like to take a picture of your cocky friend's careless face or the innocent face of your favorite girl? FakeCamera can satisfy your desires.

When we hear the camera shutter sound, we believe that our picture was taken even if the actual shutter wasn't released. This application uses this potential.

It means the application makes a fake shutter sound before taking a picture.

Your friends will hold a pose until they hear the shutter but in fact, this app captures the off-guard face of your friend after hearing the shutter sound.

You can also make a surprise attack. Make the shutter sound to get your friend turn around. You can then capture their innocent expression!

- How to use

Launch the application to open the shooting mode. Touching the shutter button makes a fake shutter sound. The real shutter works when you release your finger from the button. Find out the perfect timing to release your finger.
- Shooting tips

When you take a picture from the front, catch your friend's attention by telling them that you are going take their pictures: "Come on guys, look at me! I will take your picture!" The more you can get the attention, the more you can enjoy the gap of their expressions before and after they hear the fake shutter sound. Well, be careful not to overact.

When you take a picture from the side, approach to your friend close enough so he/she can hear the shutter sound. If your friend notices the sound, you can capture a funny face.
If your friend notices that you are taking a picture, just tell him/her you wanted to take a secret picture, and change your plan to take a picture from the front. Don't panic, play it cool.

However we do not recommend taking pictures of people you don't know.

- Shooting notice

Unlock the silent mode. The fake shutter won't make sound in silent mode.

Enjoy FakeCamera, satisfy your prank spirit!

What! Two shutter sounds???

One, as expected, when you touch the camera shutter button. The you leave your finger on the button and then release your finger when you actually wanna take the shot. This is cool cuz, in theory, it would even work if somebody's kinda watching you take the shot.

When you release your finger for secret shot to take place, YOU HEAR ANOTHER CAMERA SHUTTER!

I was like, what!?!? How dumb.

Also, if you rework this app, try to make a better icon and splash screen. It's best if it kinda looks like the apple camera logo so if your friend is watching you set up the camera, they will think that you are selecting the camera app.

Also, I think it had a lame, "I'm a secret camera" splash screen. For obvious reasons, dumb!

In fact, anyone dev'ing secret or covert apps....please remember that from icon to sounds to shut off style to background or not....please stay true to your mission. Don't puss out and ruin your secrecy.....even if it's unethical. You've already gone past ethics and look double unethical if you try to "make it okay" at the end with a whack ads icon or an splash screen acting as some kinda warning.

So, anyway....

Like descriptions, yes. Of satifies joy of reading. For apps good, true this is written. Many of several not as much good as other ones, but this one.

Others as read are writing not plain or advanced. No complicate for text in language of shutter. Click is as noise made.

English? Maybe

OMG this guy should have got someone who speaks English to write his discription. But I did have a smile on my face as I read it. It is so long but says absolutely nothing. My fav part was the set up he sugested "I take a picture, I take yes. Well to take."...... Priceless.
