What's New in Version 2.0
I love that they finally released an updated version! This one actually works and looks great. Subscription and single-purchase options are available, and the app now appears in the newsstand. Recommendations for the developers: navigating is a little non-high tech. It would be nice if tapping a title from the table of contents took you to that article and if tapping the "continued on page..." messages actually took you there. Right now you have to scroll back and forth everywhere. A second potential improvement is in readability. I have to enlarge each page to read the most comfortably as the text is a tad small, and so I have to move the enlarged page around the screen as I'm reading. It seems more like a scanned copy of the magazine than an issue formatted for the iPad. Overall, this is a great version 2 that has potential for even better versions in the future. Keep up the good work!!
Fangoria 2.0 is an awesome upgrade.
Fangoria (2.0) is great, responsive, is now current, and appears on the newsstand next my Famous Monsters magazine. What is not to like!!! Now FM needs an update.
I grew up with Fangoria and now it's growing up digitally. Please support it and make it the digital standard that other magazines have to compete with.
Stick with the print edition
Just bought the newest issue with Barbara Crampton on the cover and while the content of the mag is killer, about 1/3 of the magazine is borderline unreadable due to dark grey text being used on a black background. Unless the staff at Fangoria begins to make changes to make the mag more digital friendly I'd stick with the print version.
