Just enter "Lunch with Elon in Palo Alto on Friday" and Fantastical 2 will schedule it! Or type in "todo buy milk at 5pm" and a reminder will alert you at 5PM! If your device supports dictation, you can speak the details for your event or reminder and Fantastical 2 will handle the rest.

Easy to read and use! Needs one option - updated

All calendar apps essentially offer the same basic info, however, this app is my main calendar app for one very important reason: it is easy to read, especially at a quick glance. Being easy to read is so much more valuable than other app developers seem to realize.

One thing that would be nice is the ability/option to cancel a meeting but it remains on your list as grayed out. Right now, you can only delete a meeting that gets canceled. So many times I would have liked to have been able to look back and find what day a meeting had originally been scheduled for before it was canceled. Sometimes, if it gets rescheduled at a later date, I have to re-enter everything as it was deleted rather than just canceled. Also, this option would be great to keep a meeting on my schedule that I know I won't make and don't want it show as active and don't need a reminder, but still want it to show on the list as grayed.

Best Calendar By Far

*August 30, 2017 *

It is well worth noting how small, nimble companies like Flexibits continuously improve their products and never rest on their laurels. They already have by far the best calendar apps for all of Apple's platforms, and yet they continuously update with minor improvements to help make their products even better and make life better.

For example, this release adds alert times for 1 week and 2 weeks prior to an event. This saves a few taps by avoiding having to make "custom" alerts. Very simple and minor, but it's the attention to detail that is so much appreciated.

I have come to terms with the fact that Apple has essentially abandoned creating good "core" apps for both macOS and iOS alike. Since I am resolved to (in most cases) having to pay to replace those core apps, the question becomes which third-party app is best for a particular function. For calendars, the hands-down winner is Fantastical. I've purchased three (3) versions thus far:

* iPhone
* iPad
* Mac

I don't own an Apple Watch, but if I ever do, Fastastical will be one of my first app purchases for that as well.

No regrets on any front. The natural language recognition and parsing is great. As is the layout and overall UX. Widgets are excellent too.

Highly recommended.

Beautiful work on the back end, but get a designer.

I love this. I'm a grad student and an intern and a business owner. Having one synchronized spot for all my calendars and events and notes is vital. And I have it on my imac, laptop, and phone. I am so pleased with how it looks, especially in the full screen mode on the computer... But guys... This is $50. I honestly do not want to have the app on my home screen because the logo is hideous. And the Crayola red is awful at the top of the page on the phone. Why in God's name would you pick crayon red? The logo is akin to a freemium children's app. Step up the design. Stop with the gross icon and no color options beyond light or dark. This is major leagues. Cmon. I bet you could do a contest #fantasticallogo and the web would provide you one for free. Hell, I'll do it.
