Dont like it

I was interested in this game more on the business side of farming, more specifically, managing a farm rather than working one. I was hoping for something similar to a lot of these business simulation games but this is much more rigirous in YOU hooking up equipment plowing, planting, and harvesting in a field. The business side seems to be very basic and not user friendly. The entire game seems very not user friendly… from having to go and look and search in the community where you buy seed and sell wheat etc. You have to drive around and figure out stuff for yourself. In general I was looking for a game that focused more on the big picture rather than focusing on the the small knick knack bull crap like getting the tractor to line up right in order to hook up. If this game was really cheap it might be worth it.. but its definitely not worth the 27 and change I paid. I think you could improve it by having a more user friendly menu to pull up where you can buy and sell general things like you have the menu for banking. I think it would make more sense to hire someone full time and give them instructions instead of having to go and hook up to equipment and drive it to the field and then hire a guy to finish the task. In general, for the beginner it is not anywhere near user friendly and seems to be very inefficient in how you do daily tasks.

Love it

Had this game for a while, I started just a humble farmer, racking up bits of cash here and there. Later I bought a small mower and took jobs at the golf course, soon I bought a lawn mower that unfolded into a beast-sized grass chopper and was able to do mowing tasks at the golf course and trailer park in about 1 minute. I made lots of euros but got tired, so i took a loan of 200,000 and bought my first windmill, though I already had a solar array of about 3 panels. I kept doing mowing jobs and buying windmills, after a while I had about 10 windmills providing me a steady income. I managed to pay off my loan within a few game days. Soon I had a few million dollars, and continued to invest in more windmills. Currently I have a few thousand windmills, and am a multi-trillionaire, now you can’t even look out into the distance without seeing windmills. Would do it all again.

Same price, half the package

I bought this version, on the App Store, because i do not like Steam's connection requirements. I want to be able to play my games without logging into some service every time. For being a stand alone app with no DRM "call ins" is great...

The catch... While this is priced EXACTLY the same as the Titanium edition on Steam, which includes the American map and more hardware... This is actually only the BASIC version!

I didn't notice that, and so I paid the SAME AMOUNT, but did not get the Titanium edition. Asmuch as I hate Steam's DRM system, and having to be logged into Steam, I ABSOLUTELY would have bought it there if I had noticed that.

The Mac App store verison is a RIP OFF!!!

I can't even see a way TO upgrade to Titanium edition via the Mac App store. Again... Complete rip off! I don't care for Steam... But I REALLY WOULD HAVE bought it on Steam if I'd realized this...

Why didn't i realize that? Simple. Apple chose to price the BASIC version of the game at the same $27 price that is charged for the TITANIUM edition.

Thanks Apple.

Thanks a whole freaking lot.

I would give the game 5 stars, but you LOSE a star for only providing the incomplete game, at the same price as the expanded game.
