Horrible customer service and response time
I have had many issues with this app. Most recently they have cancelled my whole order for one thing not being available. This is after already waiting for over 15 minutes and then having to reschedule. And interestingly enough, when I reordered, the fee for delivery had increased in the time since I had initially ordered. This is not the first time my order has been cancelled and by the time I reordered the fee had jumped 1.5 times the initial cost. Then I tried ordering again and they cancelled my order again saying that due to them being too busy they were cancelling so it would be more convenient for me. This is ridiculous, as it was obviously because they cannot get it done, but trying to say it was for my convenience is not what I want to hear when that is obviously not true. Also my account was suspended for almost a week and I asked repeatedly what the reason was and how I could get it resolved. They never told me the reason it had been suspended despite saying they would get back to me, and what they said would be resolved within 24 hours took 5 days. This incident was not the only one where favor customer support had not responded. Every cancelled order comes with a text asking if I have any questions. They take hours to respond if they respond at all. Terrible customer service. I will definitely be using a different all from now on because this is terrible
i had a bad experience as well.
i ordered something, they guy getting my food told me that they didn’t have what i want. i told him “that’s fine, just cancel my order please”. he said okay i will notify favor so they can cancel it for you. so i went ahead a ordered something else.
i waited, a long time as always, i got a notification that the order i cancelled was here already. confused, i opened the door, and he gave me the order. i told him, but i cancelled the order, he just walked away. then my other order came...... i was like okay. i look at my phone, and surly enough i had to pay for both the orders when i clearly CANCELLED the first one. i contacted favor and told them what happened, they said ohh sorry you have to pay for both.. i told them i don’t have to because i CANCELLED the first order. they said sorry you still have to.. i was very very furious. so i didn’t pay either, but a few hours later they took it off my card, meaning they just took the money off my card and paid it. i sent and sent them messages, being polite as i can and they were ignoring all my messages... that’s not cool at all. NEVER AGAIN...
I Won’t Be Using Again
Everyone I work with uses this app and about 50% of the time they’re neutral about their service. Two of my co-workers constantly have problems with the customer service, but they continue to use the app. One girl even had her order canceled with no explanation as to why. I am not so nice. I decided to try the app out since I work in a very busy and fast paced office (I have no time to get out for food on the days I don’t bring lunch). My first (and only), delivery was prepared correctly, I had all of my items and my driver paid attention to my special requests. She was amazing, friendly and super sweet when she delivered my food. From some of the reviews I have seen regarding delivery, I must have hit the jackpot. However, they don’t tell you your total up front, nor do they warn you about tips and fees and all the extra charges they tack on. I about choked when it came time to pay my bill. My $5 lunch turned into a $30 meal very quickly. I knew there would be a delivery fee, but never expected this! I took it as a lesson learned and uninstalled the app immediately afterwards. I will not be using Favor again. To the developer, my suggestion is don’t be coy with your fees and charges. Give people a chance to decide if it’s worth it beforehand. I guarantee you will do better business with people. It comes across and cheap, sly and deceitful.
