Ratings and Reviews

Good for maps- but be careful of video

I would love to give more stars. But I can't.
First the good: maps of area are top notch. Updated and live all the time- they are about the only thing you can trust. Tim/Shannon/Steve- all great meteorologists- make me feel confident in their findings and predictions.
Now- the bad: videos from a month ago? Why? Are you trying to confuse users? The seven day forecast on the opening page is so unreliable I HAVE to watch the video just to validate it. And videos of people getting flooded are news stories- but that's not why people use the app- they want to hear immediate weather happenings and future predictions. So, please update the 7 day forecast regularly and don't reload video that is over a month old. Otherwise, keep up the good work Tim and team fcn!

Good information

But the home screen is a bit cluttered. Not a great tool for just checking your areas vital weather stats but really nice if you want to explore and gather more info.

Satellite view is kind of clunky. Does it need to have a super pretty background under the radar? Wouldn't an option to switch to a more simple map background be nice and less taxing on the app?

Dual-Doppler Radar at your Fingertips

If you live in Jacksonville, Fl. the home of First Coast News try this Free App. It is like having Dual-Doppler Radar at your Fingertips. It includes storm-cell tracking, satellite imagery and also track the tropics. Of course you can get the daily forecast.
