Feed Hawk makes it easy to subscribe to the RSS feed of the website you are visiting. From within Safari, simply open a share sheet and tap Feed Hawk. Feed Hawk will find the feed for the site and subscribe to it. If the site has multiple feeds, Feed Hawk will allow you to specify the feeds to which you wish to subscribe.

The Feed Hawk extension works inside most browsers including Safari, Safari View Controllers, Google Chrome, and Marcato.

“Sometimes a simple, single-purpose utility makes all the difference. Feed Hawk by John Brayton of Golden Hill Software is exactly that type of app.”
–John Voorhees, MacStories

“I like iOS apps that patch a hole in my workflow, and Feed Hawk fits that bill.”
–Stephen Hackett, 512 Pixels

“Are you still using RSS? If you are (and you should be, as we’ll see in a moment), then you should use the Feed Hawk app on your iPhone and iPad.”
–Charlie Sorrel, Cult of Mac

Feed Hawk works with the following feed services:
* BazQux Reader
* Feed Wrangler
* Feedbin
* FeedHQ
* Fever (self-hosted): Requires an HTTPS server with a valid certificate and Fever-Feed Hawk Adapter. Fever-Feed Hawk Adapter is available at:
* Inoreader
* NewsBlur
* The Old Reader
* tt-rss (self-hosted): Requires an HTTPS server with a valid certificate and a version of tt-rss from August 30, 2016, or later.

What's New

Version 1.6.4

This update adds the following changes:
• I removed support for Minimal Reader. That service has shut down.
• I added messaging improvements around the required version of tt-rss.
• The software keyboard presented when entering URLs for Fever and tt-rss instances is now more suitable for entering URLs.
• I updated the copyright for the new year.

If this update makes you happy, please leave a review.

Customer Reviews

This app is essential for any heavy RSS user. Dead simple and allows you to pick from all feeds found in a given page. The dev also owns Unread now. Ideally I would like to see the functionality of Feed Hawk in Unread, but it's not a necessity. Keep up the good work.

Works Great!

This is a really handy extension. Works great with Feedbin. My only wish is that it would allow users to choose a specific folder where the feed would be added.

Seamless blog subscribing

Nate Steiner

It's so smooth to subscribe to blogs from anywhere you find them (twitter web views, safari, etc). Just hit share, and the feed hawk button is waiting for you.
