37.1: Fixed reading bug in iOS 8
Great Job Guys!
I'm not sure what you guys did... but I've just reinstalled Feedly to my phone after a brief absent and the app has become even more amazing than I've remembered it. I've always loved this app, but compared to flipboard, the pictures on the feeds had always appeared washed out and bland. As a result I've always had this constant fight between installing Feedly and Flipboard, constantly switching between both apps and random periods of time.
With this new update to the app, I'd like to say you guys have finally arrived... no longer would I have to switch to any other reader, I can now fully use Feedly as my one true stand alone RSS reader.
Congrats again guys... keep up your good work!
Great app with recent irritating update
I use Feedly several times a day to read half a dozen blogs. Love the way it works -- very intuitive. But I'm holding back one star.
Recently, the app was changed so that now when you flip back and forth from one post to the other, the story automatically jumps back to the top. So, now if you leave a story and come back, you have to hunt for your place again. Pointless -- anybody can go to the top on their own, if that's what they want. A touch at the top will do it.
So, now while I still use the app on and off all through the day, I find it a little clunkier. And unnecessarily so. Hope they will change that back.
Great but please find this bug
Your app is great, I've been using it for years and I love it. But when browsing through my feed in the All view (not inside an article, in the list of them), I keep getting this error: There are no twitter accounts available. I wasn't clicking the Tweet button (there is no button in the All view. But since I get the same message if I purposefully click the Tweet button in an article, I assume these two things are related). I was just scrolling up in the All view. It keeps happening. These recent updates have helped a little, ut used to happen more. And yes, I dont have a twitter acc setup, but that is not the problem, the error shouldn't display since there is nothing visible to click on. If I had it set up it would show me an iOS Compose tweet window.
Could you investigate this please? I can help with logs or testing...
