Very useful for a journalist

Great App for this newspaper photographer covering Fest. I bounced between venues all weekend and each time I caught a show, I added it to "my schedule." Then at the end of the day when I went to write captions, I just pulled up my schedule and knew exactly who I saw and in what order. This app was a huge tool for me... Someone who isn't really familiar with the bands.

I only have a few little suggestions.

One suggestion would be to let us access the band info from the schedule. I loved being able to find out more about the band, but didn't want to leave the schedule area of the app. (I know that sounds lazy but I was working on tight deadlines each night and every second counts)

Another one would be when viewing "by venue" I'd like to be able to quickly scroll to the venue by having the alphabet (like on your contacts) to jump to that venue. When trying to find what's going on at the Wooly, it'd be nice to just push on the W and be right there. (Same for the Bands section)

I know these sound minor and lazy, but just wanted to toss them out there. All in all this app was huge for me all weekend long. Great work

Sometimes, when you’re at Fest, it gets difficult to keep track. I know, I know — FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS, right? You have a SNEAKING SUSPICION that you may have LOST DIRECTION — “Oh god, was Banner Pilot at 10 pm or 10:30? At the Wooly or at the Plaza?” Well, we’re now in A NEW ERA of Festgoing.

REMEMBER WHEN you had to pull out a big bulky fold-up map and schedule? Well, the Fest app seriously changes the way you attend Fest. It allows you to set your own schedule — pretty easily, I might add — and change it on a whim. With a bunch of your friends but don’t feel like schlepping to CMC? Check “Who’s Playing Right Now” for a quick overview.

So download this app for Fest 14 and HAVE A DRINK, BABY! Armed with a PBR in one hand and the Fest app on an iPhone in the other, you’re going to have ONE HELL OF A RIDE.

80 on 80.

Very useful!!

Absolutely beautiful app. Incredibly useful and functional. Everything I needed for the weekend was included. It was easy to navigate, easy to read, and had all information readily available on the home screen. The design is simple and looks great! Love all of the extra features apart from the actual schedule as well. Great work!
